Academics

Progressive CBSE, built for the world ahead.

A curriculum designed to make children genuinely capable — not merely well-prepared for the next exam.

Curriculum Framework

CBSE, taught with intention.

The Central Board of Secondary Education's national framework gives every Riverside student a portable foundation — accepted at every Indian university and recognised internationally.

We layer onto it competitive-exam readiness from the middle grades, life skills throughout, and thoughtful technology literacy that prepares children for a world reshaped by AI.

Grade-wise Progression

A path from Pre-KG through Grade 10.

  1. Pre-Primary (Pre-KG · LKG · UKG)

Play-based learning, language, motor and social development. The room is the lesson.

  2. Primary (Grades 1–5)

Foundational literacy and numeracy with structured CBSE practice; introduction of the arts, sports, and computational thinking.

  3. Middle (Grades 6–8)

Discipline-deep coursework, science labs, second-language fluency, and structured competitive-exam preparation.

  4. Senior (Grades 9–10)

CBSE board readiness, electives, mentoring on academic and career pathways, college and overseas-application readiness.

Beyond the Textbook

What examinations cannot teach.

  • Values

Honesty, respect, curiosity, courage — taught explicitly, modelled daily.

  • Arts & Sport

Music, theatre, visual arts and sport are core, not extras.

  • Future-Ready Tech

Computational thinking, sensible AI literacy, digital citizenship.

  • Life Skills

Public speaking, financial literacy, time management, emotional intelligence.

Personalised Attention

Small classes by design.

Student-to-teacher ratio

We deliberately keep classes small. Every child is known by name; every parent has a teacher they can speak with directly. Personalised attention is the foundation on which everything else stands.
